We are a specialty landscape design and build firm with over ten years experience in our field. Carson Irrigation was established in 1997 in Louisville, Kentucky to meet the needs of discriminating residential and commercial lawn sprinkler customers. By listening to our customers' needs, we learned that many wanted to install outdoor lighting at the same time as their sprinkler systems were installed. Outdoor lighting was a natural fit for our business because it required some of the same installation equipment as the irrigation business. Our technical nature combined with specialized training and attention to detail has made the Outdoor Lighting business one of our fastest growing parts of the company.

In 2004 we opened a second branch of our company near Ithaca, New York. We brought a higher level of expertise in lawn sprinklers and outdoor lighting to the central New York area because of having the opportunity to learn from the many competitors in the Kentucky market. In New York, our company expanded again based on the needs of our customers. We added the Carson Groundworks division to handle the land maintenance issues for our current customers and the growing number of new customers.

Today, the JA Carson Group of companies is a strong combination of Carson Irrigation, Carson Outdoor Lighting, and Carson Groundworks divisions. Each of these companies has dedicated equipment, tools, vehicles, and staffing to handle your needs with expert knowledge and unparalleled service.
